Farsh Mahal was founded to bring the finest hand-made rugs of India to homes that value craft. One rug, one pair of hands, at a time.
For generations, families in Bhadohi and Rajasthan have practised the same techniques — hand-knotted, hand-tufted, and hand-finished. Our role is to work alongside them and bring their work to a wider audience without shortcuts.
Two regions,
one lineage.
Bhadohi is often called the carpet city of India — a place where weaving has been the everyday work of families for centuries. Rajasthan is home to hand-tufting artisans and the natural fibres and dyes that give our rugs their depth.
Every Farsh Mahal rug is made in one of these two regions, by artisans whose skill is inherited and refined over years — not weeks.
